What’s happening after the kids go back to school, you say? We’re having a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) registered shoot! Two days of fun on September 28 and 29. Go to RedmondSportingClays.com/FallChallenge for the details. We’ll update with registration information later.
As is usual with these “Shotgun Start” shoots, come early on Tuesday and find a squad to join or build one with your friends. At 6 pm sharp, all groups will be assigned to stations and then we head out to the course for a Shotgun Start.
Mike, one of our intrepid volunteers, will be organizing a bit of friendly competition (no money involved). You’ve probably met him running the lodge which he does every month. Give him a big thanks for the effort he puts in — and ask him how you can help! Weekend lodge volunteers earn a voucher for 100 targets.
- Pay and be ready to shoot with a squad by 6 pm
- $25 / $15 youth
- 75 Targets on Sporting Clays
The Lodge will be closed during Shotgun Start Shoots. No late arrivals will be allowed on the course.
WE ARE CLOSED ON SATURDAY JUNE 29
The YHEC OREGON STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS are being held at the Club through the weekend. Sporting Clays will re-open to the public on Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.
Sporting Clays is pleased to host this year’s fundraiser which includes a 75-bird course, dinner, silent auction and prizes. Space is available for teams or individuals.
The Shootout Format
Players on 5-man teams are treated to a 75-bird course spread over 10 stations, each with its own spectacular challenges and views. Lewis Class format ensures that everyone, regardless of skill level, has a chance to win a prize. We encourage registration by teams, but individuals may also sign up.
Check-in and silent auction bids begin at 1 pm, safety briefing at 1:30, and Shotgun Start Shootout from 2 – 4:30. BBQ, beverages, awards, prizes and silent auction starts at 4:30. BBQ is catered by Bad Boys BBQ of Tumalo.
